Job Title: Corporate Counsel – Employment, Compliance & Real Estate Position Type: Full-Time Location: Hybrid – North New Jersey (3–4 days in office) About the Role: Seeking a Corporate Counsel to take ownership of employment matters, healthcare compliance, and lease management across a growing multi-location healthcare organization. This is a hands-on role. You will work directly with leadership, handle legal matters internally, and reduce reliance on outside counsel. The focus is execution, speed, and practical problem-solving—not over-lawyering. Core Responsibilities: Employment & HR Legal Support: Handle employee relations issues, terminations, and escalations Support HR with policies, documentation, and compliance Identify and address wage-and-hour risks (timekeeping, PTO, payroll) Respond to claims, complaints, and agency inquiries Healthcare Compliance: Support compliance across all locations: Identify gaps in processes and documentation Implement practical solutions to reduce risk Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements: Real Estate & Lease Management: Review and manage commercial leases: Track landlord obligations and enforce lease terms Handle landlord issues (rep...
