$16.50- $17.25 Job Title: Laundry Attendant: Description: Overall Responsibilities: To assist production on sort, wash/dry/fold, guest rooms’ linen, and the control of quality spotless not torn and wrinkleless linen. Essential Functions: *Able to shake & sort out and inspect all linen *Know the operating function of and be able to use all washers, Refer to operating manual and supervisor for specific information. Report malfunctioning of equipment to supervisor *Analyze all discards of stained and torn linens *Keep track of linen wash daily *Able to assist in the assembly and delivery of prepared linens *Report any discrepancies to your supervisor *Complete production reports as required *Wash empty drums and prepare them to be pick up for recycle *Able to wipe down equipment at the end of the day and assist in clean up of area *Language skills: Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e., Lockout Tagout, JSA's), safety awareness information (MSDS), operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
