Capacity Planner (Customer Service)

Description Position Summary: This role shall be a critical part in defining an UpToDate capacity planning process and drive this process throughout the organization. The Spares Capacity Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the spare part, spare assembly and modification kits on time delivery to all RECARO customers by releasing both spares assembly orders and modification kits orders in SAP and ensuring all components needed are on time in order to meet scheduled delivery dates for spare parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: - Set up capacity planning function and drive the mind set within the group - Coordinate the departments of the group (e.g. Purchasing, MRP, Logistics, Quality, etc.) to ensure all components needed are on time in order to meet scheduled delivery dates - Define and track capacities within the group to enable proper capacity planning - Prepare 90-60-30 day outlooks for on time deliveries - Control Order Book vs. Capacity - Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to ensure alignment with department or unit and determine variance from production schedules, resource levels, and invento...
