Job description

Publishing: Uses MIS software for updating job status. Communicates and provides updates on job status to Distribution and Production Supervisor and Client Services and Distribution Specialist. Completes bindery and finishing of work as well as assists in the installation of projects as assigned by the Distribution and Production Supervisor. Produces work that is compliant to the College’s Graphic Standards. Maintains a safe, clean, organized workspace for efficient operation. Distribution: Delivery and distribution of mail, printed materials and other items for the college campus and extension sites. Empties mail sacks and sorts incoming mail and interoffice mail for distribution. Maintains mail van and Mail Center dock area for efficient operation. Sorts incoming and interoffice mail in departmental boxes for distribution. Operates the postage metering machine: Routinely handles confidential information (class rosters, grades, tests). Provides day to day direction for student or part-time workers. Trains student aides and part-time volunteers workers in efficient route methods. Boxing, wrapping and delivery.
