Overview: This role combines engineering expertise, field validation, and collaboration with asset management and maintenance teams to ensure continued reliability and safety of our client’s transmission grid. Responsibilities: - Perform structural engineering assessments of damaged, corroded, or deformed lattice steel towers and components. - Review and analyze inspection reports, photographs, and field measurements to determine structural capacity and fitness for service. - Conduct structural modeling, load assessments, and failure analysis using applicable tools and methods (e.g., STAAD, PLS-TOWER, or hand calcs). - Develop engineering recommendations for repair, reinforcement, or replacement of da...
