Project Surveyor | Billings, MT or Bozeman, MT IMEG is hiring a Project Surveyor in Billings or Bozeman MT, to provide production surveying support by applying diversified knowledge of land surveying principles and practices. In this role, you’ll support survey calculations and apply surveying judgment based on documented practices and examples, with work reviewed by a Senior Survey Coordinator or Senior Land Surveyor. Principal Responsibilities: - Perform complex survey duties for construction stakeout and boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys - Research historic maps, land records, previous surveys, and land title reports - Complete boundary reductions and mapping/topographic field reductions using CAD/survey software - Download, maintain, and verify the accuracy of project survey data; manage the survey database - Review survey production and final products, processed data collection, and field notes for quality control - Prepare survey computations, staking/control exhibits, and survey crew instructions for construction staking and field survey projects - Operate and assist with GPS equipment, total stations, levels, data collectors, and other survey equipment - Lead CAD...
