Part-Time Loan Specialist - SBA

Job Description Summary Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through training and experience to process small business loans and prepare settlement documents. Responds to inquiries, processes, balances and reconciles client and lender positions. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify or provide facts and information and to identify, research, and resolve problems. Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Obtains required documentation and processes all small business loan packages. - Inputs loan data into settlement and SBA systems for setup and activation. - Coordinates settlements with customers for purchase of SBA loans. - Prepares settlement packages for funding. - Prepares monthly loan certificate inventory. - Processes and posts all SBA loan principal and interest payments. - Processes and posts loan payoffs. - Balances SBA loan transfer fees. - Perform Reconciliation for P & I payments between the investors and originator. - Customer service liaison for safekeeping accounts. - Escalates more complex service issues to seasoned associates. - Performs analysis for safekeeping st...
