Description The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking applications for one full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), Associate Professor (WOT) or Professor (WOT). Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1 – June 30). Associate Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July-June). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Title, salary and rank is commensurate with applicant’s training, qualifications, and experience, with an expected start date in Fall 2026. This position will be based at UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus and Fred Hutch Cancer Center (FHCC) and will have primary responsibility for providing surgical services in Surgical Oncology, especially related to peritoneal malignancy including Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemoperfusion (HIPEC) and for the surgical treatment of sarcomas.
