We’re looking for a Java Software Engineer Specialist to join the ever evolving Billing and Funding team to help us unleash the potential of every business. What you’ll own as the Java SE Specialist / Tech Lead Billing and Funding within Worldpay by has built a pricing and billing engine using big-data tech, we are almost at the end of the first phase of an exciting journey re-engineering our core payments platform to be more cost effective, scalable and cloud ready. The next phase of our journey is a move to the cloud, making our software cloud native, our infrastructure code and using CI/CD to increase our speed of delivery. We are looking to hire a top-class Software Specialist to help us on our journey. You need to have a strong Engineering background with experience in designing and building highly scalable, loosely coupled, event driven, distributed systems. You need to be an expert in writing Java applications using a variety persistence including database, s3 and Kafka.
