Family Hub Parental Outreach Worker Salary: £33,531- £38,052 per annum: Grade: D: Fixed-Term Contract - 18 months: Full-Time - 37 Hours per Week The role involves providing a range of high quality universal and targeted family services that meets the needs of families. Involving parents/carers in their children’s learning and supporting parents to access the whole range of Family Hub services are integral aspects of the role. Key Experience and Skills: Qualifications essential to the role - DBS Check: An Enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with Children's Barred List is required for this post. - Ability to communicate effectively with both young children and their parents/carers. - Ability to work and liaise with a variety of agencies. - Ability to work with members of the local community. - Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate a range of services for families and their children. - Ability to identify targets areas and implement appropriate interventions under the direction of the Family Hub manager. - Ability to be flexible to work across borough where the service need requires and to cover for holidays, sickness and other requirements. - Good organisational...
