Project Manager, Special Projects – Transmission Line Design (Atlanta or Birmingham) SCS Technical Shared Services, Engineering: **PLEASE NOTE** This posting serves to fill multiple Project Manager positions on our Transmission Line Design East team to support GPC projects. WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE, & TRAVEL: - This position will be based out of General Services HQ in Forest Park, GA (Metro Atlanta) or The Energy Center in Birmingham, AL. - Work schedule (in-office, field and telecommute); currently four (4) days in-office and one (1) day telecommute (subject to adjustment). - This position will require a mixture of both field and office work. - Field work can include visits to various GPC project sites and may require overnight travel. - This position will require some travel (days and overnight – if you live in Atlanta, up to 25%; if you live in Birmingham, up to 50%) and the ability to work successfully in a remote/virtual environment with access to internet service. - Relocation assistance may be provided if the successful candidate does not currently live within a reasonable commute distance.
