Description The Department of Finance in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor tenure-track or Associate Professor with tenure. Appointment begins in August 2026, salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and rank. Essential Functions: The candidate must contribute to the mission of the W. P. Carey School of Business and the Department of Finance in the areas of research, teaching and service. Candidates must conduct high quality research that is publishable/published in the department’s top-tier academic journals; effectively teach finance courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance the intellectual atmosphere of the department. Qualifications: For Assistant Professor applications: Required Qualifications: 1) A PhD in Finance or a closely related field; ABD candidates must be close to earning that doctorate by the position start date; 2) Evidence of potential for excellence in research publications at top-tier journals.
