Engineer - Energy/Performance Testing

Job description

This is an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in Newton, IA. - Define project scope, standards, costs, and schedules in collaboration with customers and sales - Plan and execute laboratory and on-site testing; travel to client sites as required - Coordinate testing activities, schedules, documentation, and technician output - Review test data for compliance; communicate results, issues, and scope changes to customers - Prepare and review technical reports and serve as Project Handler and/or Reviewer of Record - Support development of new test methods, fixtures, and equipment - Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and internal quality requirements - Represent the organization at customer meetings and industry events as needed - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar. - Internship or prior work experience preferred. - C++, C#, or web programming knowledge preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. - CAD or similar design skills. - Strong communication skills.
