This position is open to experienced nurses and new grad nurses. Location: Francis 7B (FR7B), The Suites at Saint Marys (General Care/Progressive Care) Patient Care Type: FR7B is an inpatient eight-bed unit designed for patients who wish to have additional amenities during hospitalization. Some of the amenities of the unit include spacious rooms with additional furnishings/decor, executive chef with gourmet meals prepared on the unit, and a business center for use by patients and their guests. Bed #: 8: Nursing Team Roles: The unit provides care for primarily adult medical/surgical patients as well as patients requiring care at the progressive care level. Nursing staff have the nursing skills/preparation to meet the nursing care needs of adult patients with a variety of surgical and medical diagnoses. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
