Department: University Police Salary: $8.25 per hour (Max 26 hours per week) Position Summary: The duties of the University Student Aid Police Communications Officer are to operate assigned radio frequencies, perform 9-1-1 and Alabama Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (A.L.E.T.S.) duties, operate the Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD), maintain records and files, comply with all rules and regulations of the Police Department and University, must be able to maintain confidentiality of information, assist with operational and administrative tasks, along with additional duties as required by the department. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants’ skills, qualifications, and departmental needs. Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.
