How Does the Emergency Hire Process Work? - An Emergency hire is a temporary position that allows for employment in any urgently needed role. - An Emergency hire can work for sixty (60) days and shall not exceed two (2) consecutive sixty (60) day periods or one-hundred and twenty (120) total business days. To be considered for an Emergency Hire position, the prospective hire must meet the minimum requirements of the position under consideration. - Emergency Hires are not used for all positions.
