Inventory Management Specialist

Job description

Description To supply products on a timely basis to our customers, assist customers in stocking adequate parts, and assist in increasing customer sales by managing customer inventory at their facility. Duties/Responsibilities: - None. - Drive daily in company vehicle to customer facilities, take orders and put parts away into designated bins from previous orders. - Label and identify all items to be managed in inventory. - Load and unload trucks. Place stock on shelves or racks. - Maintain customer area to be clean and straightened on a weekly basis. - Helps customer determine best products to keep in stock, with input from the customer and outside salesman. - Prepares orders and quotes in a timely manner. - Turns in signed documentation that customer received material. - Assembles bins and racks to store our parts at customer locations. - Clearly communicate customer needs to both inside and outside sales, to better serve the customer on products and production selection. - Periodically carry the emergency service pager.
