Director of Supply Chain

Job type: Full Time Hours: The Market Director of Procurement Operations is responsible for ensuring procurement best practices and continuous delivery of an efficiency program based on system-wide and local initiatives across all hospitals in the market. Drive savings and improve the market’s financial performance through process improvements, supply chain and purchased services recommendations, inventory control, standardization of practices, and the implementation of existing GPO and Tenet contracts to optimize local performance. The role reports directly to the Market / Group Financial Officer and functionally to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM: 5-7 years healthcare materials management experience with at least 3 years managerial experience. PREFERRED: 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in a Supply Chain Setting. 5 years as director. EDUCATION: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Management, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Accounting.
