Underwater Bridge Inspection Technician | Medley, FL IMEG is seeking a Underwater Bridge Inspection Technician to support our Bridge Inspection Operations Team throughout South Florida and surrounding regions. This role combines commercial diving operations with hands-on bridge inspection assistance for above water and underwater structural inspections in support of FDOT, municipal and other government agencies. The role involves field work outdoors including bridges, waterways, marine facilities and active roadway conditions. Work my include climbing, working over water, diving operations, nighttime inspections and extended field assignments. Principal Responsibilities: - Assist Bridge Inspection Teams during routine, in-depth, emergency, and special inspections - Perform commercial diving activities using surface-supplied air systems in accordance with OSHA and company safety requirements - Assist with underwater cleaning of piles, caps, seawalls, and substructure elements for inspection access - Support inspection personnel with sounding, measurements, photography, note taking, and defect documentation - Assist with deployment and retrieval of boats, dive systems, pumps, compres...
