Job DetailsJob Location: Chicago CIC - Chicago, IL 60607Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 SalaryWe are seeking a mid level in house attorney to lead drafting and negotiation of highly complex commercial agreements and intellectual property agreements such as Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), collaboration agreements and IP licensing agreements. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working for global manufacturers with IP heavy R&D and product portfolios. He/she should combine strong business judgment, a strategic mindset with deep contracting and IP expertise comfortable driving complex negotiations, advising cross functional stakeholders up and down the organization, and standardizing templates/playbooks to balance accelerating transactional velocity with containing risk. Candidates with additional experience in one or more of the following legal specialties is preferred: - Intellectual Property (particularly IP licensing) - Litigation (particularly IP litigation) - Employment Law - Labor Law - Antitrust - Trade Compliance - Mergers & Acquisitions - Regulatory (particularly regulations of the chemical industry) Primary Focus: - Customer facing contracts: s...
