JOB TITLE: Special Projects Coordinator Overview: Provides career counseling to customers to improve their education and professional skillset and helps them to obtain employment along their chosen career pathway by providing intensive career advising and case management services. Serves as the designated advocate for the employment of military spouses and families. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Provide and facilitate career and employment services to active-duty military spouses and families. - Connect with military spouses and families by attending military family functions, through social media platforms designed for military families, and other base/military connections and events. - Contact employers and outside agencies to promote the Military Family Employment Advocacy and promote the entry of military spouses into education, training, and certifications/licensure programs. - Build military community program connections for programs and resources for military and Veteran family members. - Coordinate with the Department of Defense (DOD) Family Support/S...
