Job description
TSFR Applebee’s host/hostess primary responsibility is to Delight our Guests by greeting arriving and acknowledging departing guests as well as seating them in a friendly manner, and assisting with maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant. In doing this, the host/hostess will maximize the dining room space and server effectiveness. The host fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values. Essential Job Functions: Primary Duties: - Greet all guests as they enter and depart the restaurant and hold the door open for guests - Seat guests according to the established plan and guests’ needs - Keep host/hostess stand and waiting area clean - Ensure menu’s remain clean and stocked - Complete restroom checks and refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed - Sanitize and wipe down all tables and sweep the area as needed and resets the table - Assist the servers when needed by taking the initial drink order or running food to the guests in the dining room - Complete daily opening and closing work to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and TEAM Educational / Experience: - Excellent customer service skills wit...
