Job description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer -Java for a global retail company in Stockholm. Start is in ASAP, 7-month limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. Job description: Design, build, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices. Lead end-to-end delivery across development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production support. Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to drive technical decisions and resolve risks Minimum Technical Skills: Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework. Strong microservices and cloud-native architecture experience. Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD/continuous deployment. SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Cosmos DB. Testing strategy, TDD, integration testing, and performance testing. Leadership / Experience Level: Senior engineer with 6–9+ years’ hands-on software engineering experience. Owns complex services or domains with minimal guidance. Mentors engineers and contributes to engineering standards.
