Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance and/or repair of client facilities, equipment and grounds. Daily hours are 7am to 3:30 Qualifications: - Keep building exterior and parking garage free from snow and ice - Respond to tenant requests and building work orders and complete documentation - Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and keep records - Follow schedule and respond to after-hours calls as needed - Assist with vendors and contractors performing site visits - Maintain elevator lobbies - Maintain parking garage and loading dock area - Maintain exterior grounds: perform trash pick-up, blow leaves in fall, run tractor to remove snow from sidewalks and garage, use salt spreader on sidewalks and in garage, operate power washer - Operate building equipment including a John Deere Gator, tractor, snow blower, power washer and billy goat - Keep parts and supplies organized and stocked - Assist with overtime and non-standard hours as needed - Complete required training - 2 years of experience required - Should have basic understanding of electrical and plumbing – will be required to troubleshoot...
