We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Hodgkins, IL. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Completing repair activities on generators or components - Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of service - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Perform advanced-level troubleshooting, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of diesel and natural-gas generator sets, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and associated power generation and distribution equipment. - Lead and execute complex preventive maintenance, load bank testing, commissioning, and detailed equipment inspections while ensuring accurate and timely service documentation and reporting. - Independently diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and control system issues with minimal supervision. - Serve as a technical resource by m...
