Job description

SUMMARY: The Ace Store Director is responsible for ensuring superior customer service in their store. They must develop Associates at all levels, drive sales and profitability, and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management. They will also ensure compliance with effective inventory management and merchandising practices and all store policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly. - Hires, trains and develops retail staff with goals for growth and success in their positions, provides performance feedback and recognizes accomplishments. - Performs bookkeeping and payroll functions - Controls shrink, expenses and labor - Coordinates the overall supervision of retail staff to ensure sales performance goals are met and procedures are followed accurately - Regulates retail inventory to reduce shrinkage, maintains appropriate stock levels and ensures report accuracy - Directs the shipping, receiving and inventory flow for the store - Forecasts scheduling needs to meet customer demand and creates work schedules - Delegates...
