TITLE: Banquet Attendant LAST UPDATED: June 22, 2022 DIVISION: Guest Services DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Assistant Banquet Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt COMP LEVEL: 4 ________________________________________________________________ Summary: Sets up and tears down banquet rooms and preps for upcoming events. Keeps Banquet kitchen and storage areas clean and organized. The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description. Essential Job Functions: - Setting up events according to banquet event order (BEO): tables, chairs, buffet lines, drink stations, bars and service breakdown stations. - Tears down room set up at conclusion of event by removing chairs, tables, and related items and returning to storage area, making sure banquet equipment is clean and in good working condition before storing. - Prepares carts for upcoming events: linen, rolled silverware, filled salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls, goblets, coffee cups, coffee service items. - Polishes all...
