This role, located in Farmington, NM is responsible for the welding to erect steel structures, skid’s, guards, and many other welding duties. This type of welding is done by using a variety of designs, such as the groove weld, fillet weld, weld length, complete joint penetration, partial joint penetration, lap joints, weld size, weld spacing, transitions and the static and cyclical loading. Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining tools used in structural welding. Perform a variety of welding techniques, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and flux-cored arc welding Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Welders work with very hot materials a...
