SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform a variety of facility maintenance duties as assigned; work may be performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions. Employee will be required to use standard hand and power tools as necessary to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to communicate well with co-workers, maintain a positive attitude, have above average attendance. Must display a commitment to, and be responsive to, the needs of manufacturing departments. Work schedules may vary according to manufacturing support requirements. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Work under limited supervision and follow established procedures. Must be able to manage, organize and utilize time effectively. - Construct and maintain, in good condition, sheet metal fixtures, heating and cooling ducts, vent ducts and intake/exhaust ducts. Construct machine guards for facility and production equipment. - Install and maintain, in good operating condition, all types of water, gas, air conditioning, plumbing and other pipe and pipe fitting systems throughout the facility.
