Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manufacturing and Engineering - Continuous improvement activities for manufacturing, working with all departments out of the Houston operation - Strong aptitude and creativity in mechanical and equipment design. Ability to take a concept and turn it into a functional mechanical asset - Design and support manufacturing equipment to ensure reliability and production efficiency - Participate in the proto-type and production launch of new products from a manufacturing perspective - Review current manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities to determine process capabilities and resources required to run proto-types - Manage and support the DSC test equipment - Engineering Documentation - Design, draft and document new and existing equipment, products and processes - Revise and control prints and bills of materials - Submit bills of materials for review - Generate quotes for new product design - Budget and Capital Project Oversight - Review and coordinate capital project requests for departments in the US and Canadian offices - Track capital spending - Track and report capital spending relative to the operations budget quarterly - Facilities Support - Oversit...
