Title: Solar Technician II Company: Tampa Electric Company: State and City: Florida - Tampa Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days POSITION CONCEPT: The Solar Technician II position is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all utility scale solar plant systems. In addition, the Solar Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting and operational support with regards to all utility scale solar plant related problems. This position is also responsible for maintenance of the utility scale solar plant inverters, tracking systems and arrays. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the limits of authorized objectives, policies, procedures, plans, schedules and budgets, this position has the responsibility and commensurate authority for the: EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related from an accredited university. EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required.
