Platform Engineer

Job description

Main Purpose We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our well established but growing infrastructure team. This role will focus on delivering and managing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to support private cloud-based platforms, including Kubernetes clusters and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments. The engineer will also support integration with hybrid and public cloud services to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient platform operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain platform offerings such as Kubernetes, server build automation and High-Performance Computing Build and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm. Develop and maintain scalable and secure platform architectures supporting containerized, distributed, and high-performance applications. Ensure consistent automation, provisioning, and configuration management across environments. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and research teams to support platform enablement and project delivery.
