Job description

Level and compensation based on experience. Summary: Profitably manage risk selection in an underwriting territory, through analysis of the information presented, and then selecting, declining, and providing alternatives for the risks reviewed. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Qualifications: - Performs agency management responsibilities that involve analyzing, monitoring and evaluating assigned agencies in a territory to identify potential concerns or trends within their book of business. - Works closely with Business Development Reps and/or Supervisor and assigned agencies, and acts as a liaison to influence the overall profitability, quality and composition of each agency’s book. - Demonstrate ability to exercise business judgment, effective oral and written communication skills, sales and negotiations skills, analytical skills and effective time management. - Associate’s degree or Technical or specialized knowledge or equivalent, related experience. - 1 - 3 years’ experience - One-year prior experience in the insurance industry or customer service.
