Manchester Airport: Salary: £45,000 approx: Full-Time, Perm, This is a 4 on and 4 off shift pattern Job Summary: We are looking for highly motivated individuals to service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all GSE and upload inspection findings and job details into Swissport’s fleet management system and may be required to participate in a standby rota, with a frequency of one week in four, including potential call-outs. Responsibilities: What we are looking for: - Experience working with HGV vehicles, or Ground Service Equipment would be preferred but not essential. - Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent - Minimum 1 year post apprentice. - Good general mechanical, diagnostics and fault finding ability - Willingness to learn new skills - Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems - Ability to conduct safety inspections and perform routine maintenance - Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude - Welding preferred but not necessary - Willingness to work in inc...
