Mechanical Engineer II (Cleared) – Tucson, AZ Title: Mechanical Engineer II (Structures / Design) – Cleared Location: Tucson, AZ: Clearance: Active Secret or higher required Overview: We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer II to support design, development, and production efforts for advanced defense systems. This role will focus on structural design, packaging, and manufacturability. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Develop mechanical designs and assemblies using CAD tools - Support structural, thermal, and packaging analysis - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure producibility - Participate in design reviews and testing activities - Support troubleshooting and design improvements - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related - 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design - Experience with CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, etc.) - Background in aerospace or defense preferred - Active Secret clearance required
