Job Description Summary: Aviagen is currently hiring an experienced Assistant Hatchery Manager who will primarily responsible for assisting the Hatchery Manager in planning, developing and implementing policies and practices for operation of hatchery, ensuring attainment of goals and profitable operation. Direct strategic operational plans for hatching eggs and chick production. Responsible for compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. Also, will be responsible for ISO and Transportation. Job Description: - Manage and coordinate, hatchery activities: egg pick-up and deliveries, care, incubation and hatching, grading, vaccination, and preparation and shipping of chicks - Manage and coordinate the maintenance of facility and equipment - Manage chick care, maintenance, packing, and transfer activities - Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control program - Communicate with and assist Breeder Manager to project egg needs - Communicate and coordinate with contract service providers where applicable - Manage and maintain weekly hatch schedules, providing proper numbers - Monitor and manage facility equipment...
