Position Purpose: The Safety Lead supports daily plant operations by providing frontline safety oversight, incident response, training, and employee engagement. This role works closely with Production, HR, and EHS leadership to promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and strengthen the facility’s safety culture. Hourly Pay Range: $23.75: Essential Functions: Safety Leadership & Floor Engagement Serve as the primary safety contact on the production floor, supporting hourly engagement and coaching employees in safe work practices. Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards, verify controls, and encourage near‑miss and hazard reporting. Support implementation of safety initiatives, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities. Incident Response & Investigation: Lead the initial response to workplace incidents and injuries, ensuring timely and accurate data collection. Participate in accident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA) and documentation of corrective actions.
