Job Overview As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will provide primary support for our Manufacturing, Operations, Design, and Engineering Teams at our two manufacturing facilities. #LI-BB2 A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Be an active member & leader on area production support team addressing daily safety and quality concerns - Lead, coordinate, and track cost reduction activities identified from production support team - Troubleshoot production issues escalated from supervision to determine root cause and assist with corrective actions - Research, align, justify and execute capital projects as needed in the production area being supported using A3 methodology - Lead weekly improvement meetings focused on safety, quality, and productivity - Oversee & develop welding process documentation including WPS’s, PQR’s, WQTR’s, and Welder Continuity - Administer welding tests to new and existing welding personnel - Design and manufacture improvement solutions (i.e. jigs, fixtures, tools, etc.) - Develop work cell layouts to improve flow through the facility - Develop and execute all required process change documentation to include safety, qualit...
