Leidos' Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The Model-Based Systems Engineer will work in a matrixed organization at Leidos, supporting multiple programs across a variety of engineering fields and team environment—from large-scale prime programs such as the Hypersonics Weapons Program and IFPC Inc 2 Program, to smaller-scale efforts where Leidos provides support as a subcontractor to top DoD contractors. The candidate will join a diverse team of systems engineers and have the opportunity to work on programs from their preferred background, as well as challenge themselves by working on programs outside of their expertise. A candidate with experience in other systems engineering areas such as General Systems Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Risk Management, and Reliability Analysis will be treated preferentially.
