Description Summary: Under the supervision of the next level Supervisor, the Welder/Fabricator will be a key member of the cross-functional Fabrication team. This team is responsible for fabricating products within a world-class manufacturing system. The Welder/Fabricator will be accountable for all aspects of open table fabrication, including handrailing, balcony, and staircase assemblies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of functions and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. - Plan and prioritize job tasks based on provided schedules. - Utilize prints, job orders, and projections to fit-up weldments to specifications. - Gather all materials as required for the weldment - Select and execute the appropriate TIG or MIG welding process based on material and project requirements. - Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded; set up, assemble, and tack weld parts. - Fabricate by cutting, prepping, and welding various metals. - Straighten and manipulate weldments to meet provided tolerances. - Collaborate with other team members within the Fabrication Cell t...
