Job # ET25120 Job Title Intern - Engineer (Summer 2026) Office Location Roanoke, VA: Business Function/Department Industrial Systems: Sales Territory, if applicable N/A: General Role Description: Provide software design technical support for control solutions and drafting and hardware design technical support for electrical distribution and control solutions for industrial systems projects that meet client needs and fulfill project requirements. Role Accountabilities: The Intern will work in one or more of the following areas: Software Control & HMI: – Provide input regarding software engineering standards to improve productivity, increase quality, and reduce cost – Control document revision, distribution, and archiving within area of responsibility using established project document control procedures - Gather pertinent information from authorized sources to assess project requirements as related to assigned scope of work - Create and document industrial controller and/or computer based software modules to meet control functionality and work progress targets, as directed, at prescribed engineering checkpoints - Create and animate Human Machine Interface (HMI) software to meet cont...
