Surgical Technologist

Job description

The Melrose Hospital is looking to add a Surgical Technologist to their team! As a Surgical Technologist, you will perform a combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team. You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures, assist as directed during operations as well as track inventory of surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver quality patient care. This position will cross train at the Paynesville Hospital. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations To be eligible for recruitment incentives, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Melrose Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
