WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: As a Designer on the NPI team at nVent, you will play a key role working with cross functional teams to support product development, manufacturing, and customer solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturability, quality, and scale, while helping ensure designs meet requirements. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability. Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and industry guidelines. Support prototype development and testing by providing accurate design data and documentation.
