Pay Rate: $28.25 Hourly Non-Certified, $29.54 Hourly Certified | Full Time | Shift Details: 12:00am - 8:00am Schedule days may vary. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Lighthorse Police Officer is responsible for patrolling assigned areas and investigating incidents within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma to protect life, property, and public safety. Primary Tasks: Enforce applicable Tribal, State, and Federal laws in accordance with established policies and procedures. Conduct routine and proactive patrol activities within assigned areas. Investigate motor vehicle collisions and criminal offenses; prepare accurate, thorough, and timely reports. Properly prepare arrest cases and testify in court or other legal proceedings when required. Carry out assignments as directed and remain on assignment until properly relieved by authorized personnel. Locate individuals with active warrants, take them into custody, and transport detainees or prisoners as required.
