REPORTING TO: SPA DIRECTOR & GYM SUPERVISOR: SCOPE OF ROLE: Coordinating all aspects of the Gym and Personal Training, driving fitness, operating criteria, staff relations and training. The Gym Intern will play a key role in the Gym & Spa’s vision of success ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all aspects of the fitness operation. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: FITNESS ACTIVITIES: - Support Personal Training Sessions during scheduled working hours. - Ensure activities are performed to an exceptional standard, as per Workshop and Hotel brand standards. - Monitor the cleanliness of equipment and levels of guest supplies in the fitness areas. - Follow opening and closing procedures correctly, acting on any maintenance issues immediately. FITNESS SALES: Order and keep appropriate par levels of stock at all times. Encourage clients to return to the gym and spa by recommending an ongoing fitness program and cross selling the other business centres in the spa.
