Riverside Overview " Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. " Position Overview: Riverside Research is looking for a Staff Accountant, under the direction of Senior Accounting Manager, will be a part of the accounting team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP. This position will be supporting day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end close activities. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Responsibilities: - Manage cash related transactions, including daily banking activity monitoring among multiple accounts - Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, develop action plans and lead resolutions on accounts - Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls - Set-up leave accruals for new hires - Assist with payroll tax compliance - Process weekly expense report payments - Manage timesheet compliance - Assist with AP and PO voucher entry - Help set up new vendors -...
