Our IMC unit provides care for patients who require a higher level of monitoring and support than a medical-surgical unit, while still allowing nurses to build strong foundational skills in assessment, critical thinking, and time management. The IMC/ICU Bridge Program is an evidence-based initiative designed to equip Intermediate Care (IMC) Registered Nurses (RNs) with the essential knowledge, clinical competencies, and confidence required to manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
