Primary Scheduled Hours: Days, 80 hours per pay period Job Summary: Directs the environmental services and laundry staff to ensure the facility is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition to meet DNV, state and local standards. Supervises staff and prepares budgets and reports. Provides staff leadership and makes sound business decisions in support of the hospital’s mission and vision. Demonstrates leadership; by providing an optimal environment for patient care, safety, service and value. This is a working manager position. The EVS Manager is expected to perform hands-on environmental services duties—including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and ancillary spaces—for the majority of each shift, while also fulfilling supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
