StandardAero has an opportunity for a Welder with experience in metal fabrication equipment such as gas tungsten arc (GTAW), gas metal arc (GMAW), flux-cored arc (FAW), plasma arc (PAW), shielded metal arc (SMAW), and resistance welding. As a Welder you will: - Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications - Operate brazing and soldering equipment - Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines - Participate in continuous improvement of processes - Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements - Observe all applicable safety requirements Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED and 3 years or more welding in an Aerospace or Aviation environment - Completion of a welding apprenticeship program; or equivalent - Ability to lift...
