Job description

Reports to: Director of Radiology FLSA Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt, Hourly $33.96 -$ 49.06 The working environment is a normal clinical setting with exposure to sharps, radiation, and biological and chemical agents. May be exposed to traumatic situations, including psychiatric, dismembered, and deceased patients. It is expected that facility safety practices and protocols are followed at all times. Essential Functions: - Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level - Perform all forms of ultrasound procedures within the facility. - Operate and maintain radiology equipment. - Perform various clerical duties as needed. - Assist in organizing, directing, and coordinating the functions/activities of the Radiology department. - Review department policies and procedures at least annually. - Ensure that radiologic/ultrasound procedures are performed according to prioritized needs. - Maintain proper records regarding all radiologic/ultrasound procedures. - Assist in training other department personnel. - Responsible for calculating and recording test results, standards, and controls. - Actively participate in meetings and committees as required and requested. -...
